the project:
Chadwick Arboretum is moving towards installing the first retrofit Green Roof at The Ohio State University!
This 10,000 sq ft Green Roof will be located at Howlett Hall, home of the Dept. of Horticulture & Crop Science, and the Food Science Processing pilot plant. This is an ideal location due to
its high visibility and easy access off a walk-out conference room on the main floor of the building.
The green roof will be the future site for education, demonstration, and outreach to students, faculty, and the community. We are currently in the Design and Fundraising phases, and our completion date is Fall of 2012.
